Conveyancing
Nautilus Law Group's property lawyers have a wealth of knowledge acting for both sellers and purchasers in conveyancing matters. We aim to streamline the transaction by dealing directly.
We understand conveyancing and contracts can seem complicated and daunting, so we work closely with you to keep you informed about the progress of your matter.
We take the stress out of your matter by attending to all the details of your transaction, including informing you of the key dates, performing property searches, adjusting settlement figures, calculating stamp duty and representing you at settlement.
Leasing
Nautilus Law Group represents property owners across Australia, including overseas clients holding property in Australia.
Generally, residential leasing matters are addressed by real estate agents offering letting management services. These arrangements are generally appropriate without intervention by legal advisors.
Commercial leasing requires tailored solutions. We offer a number of options to our real estate portfolio clients, including one off leases, as well as tailored agreements for use across our client's individual portfolio.
There are two general categories of commercial leases: "general commercial" and "retail shop". Legislation requires owners of retail shops provide comprehensive disclosure and lease terms, whereas general commercial premises (such as warehouses and offices) can be offered on less stringent arrangements. Both categories, however, require significant legal compliance to ensure protections.
Our team provides legal assistance to property owners, as well as business owners seeking advice on commercial leasing arrangements. We aim to take the complexity out of leasing, whilst assisting with each stage of the leasing process.

Enforcing rights of security and judgments can be likened to swimming with the sharks in the feeding frenzy of competing creditors. Nautilus Law Group's Enforcement and Insolvency Team are skilled at assessing competition between creditors, understanding client's rights and obligations under the changes as a result of the Personal Property Security Act, and engaging in strategic attacks to recover the most for our clients. Our Commercial Advisory Team assist our business clients implement credit management policies, considering the administrative and industry requirements of our client's circumstances.
